OK, so maybe Sunday was the last warm day of the season… Not worth risking wasting a warm-ish day by not riding, right?

Lake Tahoe Blue Riders (of which I’m a member) had announced that they wanted to ride to Walker, Nevada and have BBQ lunch. Sounded good to me so I met up with them when they came down the mountain from their starting point up at Lake Tahoe.

Riding with the boys, the pace was up about 15-20 mph from Friday’s all ladies’ ride. Can’t say I didn’t enjoy twisting the throttle a little again… sorry ladies, but I’ve got the need for speed in my veins.

Anyway, while enjoying various BBQ dishes at “Mammoth Lakes BBQ” in Walker, this traveling band couple started chatting with us. And within minutes, they got their guitars out and gave us an impromptu sampler of their repertoire. We LOVED it! What a treat!
